Saverne railway tunnel
Located in the Vosges du Nord mountains, the Saverne tunnel is one of the main components of the second section of the LGV Est Européenne high-speed railway line, intended to put Strasbourg at less than two hours from Paris.Commercial operation at 320 km/h.

Twin-tube one-way tunnel spanning 4,000 m in length :
- 7 galleries.
- 19 MV cells.

- 2000 lights.
- 5 kms of 20KV MV cable / 60 km of LV cable / 16 kms of fibre-optic cable.
- 5 inverters.
- 16 emergency radio communication antennas.
- 14 fire doors capable of withstanding the passage of high-speed trains.
- Utilities for technical rooms.
- Centralised technical management (CTM) system for automation and supervision.
